EQ Connects 2019

It has been a month since EQ Connects, and we wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the speakers, exhibitors and delegates who took part in the conference, and share some of the incredible feedback we had from delegates.

Created, organised and delivered by The Projects Studio, a specialist event and project management consultancy based in Newcastle, EQ Connects was a first of its kind conference focusing on Emotional Intelligence. Event Director Lyndsey Morrison worked with event sponsors: Six Seconds (Partner), Ei.Company (Gold), Genos International (Gold) and Ei4Change (Silver).

Over 150 delegates including leaders from business and education converged in Newcastle to share fresh thinking and hear from the world’s leading experts on EQ. Delegates attended from the UK, Europe and the rest of the world with countries represented including USA, Canada, Pakistan, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy Ukraine and the Bahamas.

A quality cast of EQ experts, coaches and trainers including Joshua Freedman (CEO, Six Seconds) and Martyn Newman (Founder, RocheMartin). Conference chair was BBC journalist Charlie Charlton, and the programme was packed with full, experiential sessions and workshops designed to help delegates learn the latest EQ skills within their organisations.

All delegates received an accredited CPD certificate to evidence the professional training they received during the conference.

We had some excellent feedback on the event -

· 100% of visitors said that they found the conference beneficial to their organisation

· 94% of attendees rated the content good or excellent

· 100% of delegates rated the conference organisation as good or excellent

· 98% of delegates would attend another EQ Connects event, and would recommend the conference to their contacts
